Do you know where I can find information on how to make angel wings similar to this picture of Adriana Lima? http://cgi.di.uoa.gr/~std03262/TheRock-AdrianaLima-VS2003Show-03.jpg

Do you think I could use cardboard and then use many feathers to make it look 3-D or would it be wire? I need details on how to construct wings like these. WHat kind of fabric would I use? I need as much input as possible. I am not going dressed like Adriana or anything, so please don't get the wrong idea. Thank you so much!

P.S. I'm aware this category may seem unsual for me to post this question, but I am sure people who are specialized in Materials Engineering or other branches of the Engineers would be able to help me out and tell me what tools I need and how to shape the wire.

If I were you. I would start with a foam board core. I would get spray on adhesive to tack on some rice paper. If that was too expensive, I would use rumpled crepe paper. Then I would tack on the feathers using a mini hot glue gun that has a low setting. I would use the glue gun at the base of the feathers and a light mist of the sprat adhesive to hold the feathers relatively flat. I would then use rubber cement to attach elastic shoulder straps. I would sew into the straps a section of Velcro so the straps can be snugged to perfection. that is how I would do it.
