i just completed my BPT(physiotherapy)i want to continue my studies by distance learning.Any suggesions?

Study M.P.T.

During the courses the students are taught basic sciences like work Physiology, Electro Physiology, Bio-Mechanics, Methodology, Bio-Statistics and Principles of Physiotherapy Education. Additionaly advanced subjects like Physical and functional diagnosis, Allied Therapeutics, applied Physiotherapy in Neurological and Psychosomatic disorder, Musclo skeletal disorder, Sports injuries, Cardio-respiratory disorders, Intensive care, Pediatrics, gynecology and Community based Rehabilitation. Further the students have to carry out Research studies with a dissertation in their chosen field. The students will be trained in the theory and practical aspects of the above subjects in addition to hands on clinical training patients, in hospital and out patients clinical set up and will be guided in research studies by qualified and experienced faculty.
Regulations:

* The course shall start tentatively in the month of August of every year.
* Students should attend clinics, classes, seminars, laboratories, CME etc, and have minimum 80% of attendance in each subject of study to be permitted for the exam in addition to satisfactory conduct.
* The dissertation work should be approved by the university to be eligible to appear for the exam.
* Students will undergo theory and clinic exam at the end of 2 years.
* Students should secure minimum of 50% of marks in each subject to secure a pass.

You can specialise in a field that is complimentary to what you have already trained for. I doubt that you can do this by distant learning, as you would need clinical experience. If by continue studies you mean post graduation, then you can try IGNOU.

yes you can study further.. but for your stream distance learning might be a bit difficult, i suggeast u should join regular classes only... btw you may get good learning institutes on distance learning on the website www.google.com........ good luck.........
