Last year my then 3 year old wanted to be a cowgirl, she loves horses! I found a horse costume where the child puts their legs into the costume as the horses back legs and it looks like the child is riding the horse. I dressed her in overalls, a plaid shirt, a cowgirl hat, some eye liner freckles on her nose and put her in the horse costume. She loved it!! And she was a huge hit at our church fall festival. She even got to wear the horse again at Christmas when the children's choirs were singing and her age group was to dress up like the animals in the barn. It was great and she still loves to gallop around the house in her costume. She still loves horses but this year she wants to be a mermaid. I've got the costume but I need to find a leotard and some tights to go under it because it's a little on the skimpy side. Have fun!

My three yr old has decided to be a little pink piggy for Halloween this year. No idea what put that in her head, but that's what she wants. Is it possible for your little girl to pick something out for herself? Give her the opportunity. She may surprise you with her creativity.

Whatever you choose... make sure that she can see well and that it won't trip her while she is walking.
Cute costumes for that age are: a butterfly, any Disney princess, a pumpkin, Minnie Mouse, an animal such as a kitty-cat, or a Care-Bear.

mmwhat about a lil piggy?!..that sounds really cute!..but probably after years and when she sees that picture is gonna be yelling up in the air!..what a bout a ballerina?!..that can be really cute, but i'll give you a website so you can see more of the costumes, i bought my 6 year old one and they are really nice!
