If I may so...
LOOK who's calling the kettle BLACK!!
Atheists do exactly the same thing that YOU are accusing ALL Christians of doing. They just put EVERYTHING into the 'no reason found' box. As a Christian [and only speaking for myself - which is the only thing I CAN do] I'm not afraid of acknowledging that I don't KNOW something. I have no idea WHY most things happen in this world. So I would agree with you that it's a lame 'out' to assume that all that one does NOT understand MUST because 'God did it'.
The next time you make a sweeping statement about ANY group of people - use a smaller broom.
Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

Here's what my friend an Atheist says:
I don't know whow that Happened.. Goodness did it
2. How did I wake up this morning? Goodness did it
3. Why'd my fried die? Goodness forgot him!
4. Why did we have a hurricane? Goodness must've been in turmoil over evil!
And You wonder why God Believers think
Atheists unwise?

I've never wondered or cared if atheists thought I was stupid.I believe in God,always have and always will. However,my belief is that people can choose to believe in whatever they want. And I certainly don't believe that I woke up this morning because God did it.There is a purpose for my exsistance, and the alarm clock went off, that's why I woke up.I lost my big brother 16yrs ago,and I know God did not kill my brother,he was an alcoholic, and he had a choice to stop drinking or die,he chose to die.I believe we have what I choose to call "natural" disasters, allot of times due to what mankind is doing to the earth. My belief, and again It's only my belief, that we are given choices, and God lets us have free will to make the right or wrong choice.I certainly would never go around trying to force anyone to believe the way I do.Just like I would not want anyone shoving their belief down my throat. Not everyone that believes in God is a fanatic. In fact,I believe that most of the preachers teaching fire and brimstone have no idea what they are talking about. What they preach is their interpratation of what the Bible says, and about 90% are wrong.I read my Bible for myself, and let it tell me what I believe to be true. So,with all the false teachings,I can understand why some people think the different God believing religions are crazy.I don't want someone trying to brain wash me into their way of thinking what God wants or says,I'll figure that out for myself, with Gods help.I hope this shows you that not all people that believe in God are such fanatics, that every little thing that happens is an act of God.What my Bible tells me is to treat people the way you want to be treated.I respect people and their different opinions and beliefs, and am also interested in talking to people about how they come to believe the way they do.Normally at the end of an answer I say God bless, but out of respect to you,I will say,I hope life brings you all good things and happiness.

Strangely enough, after reading the question, this is really not stupid and/or funny... this is slightly frigthening and distrubing...
Now I am slightly fearing for a certain someone....
..... anyhow, it is really not good to make assumptions like that. Even thought I am not a Chirstian, I think there is someone (or something if we go into detail) that is "tweaking" or looking over us.
Just do yourself a favor and look at "the other side"... maybe then you will understand the reason why some (or most, depends) Christians are like that... just as I did, but it was with a price.

now, now, now. be nice. If you go calling them stupid they will get a riled up. Then they will be burning witches and heretics again. The only thing is they won't say God did it, but that God told them to do it.
And senorita has got the meanings of thermodynamics and relativity all messed up, obviously no clue. She must have been spending to much time riding dinosaurs around the great plains of Kansas.

ezekiel 9.5 ... is surely good. the seal of God vs the mark of the beast ... freewill eg. in right this moment's context, seem on the gay community FORCING society to handle them as equals. In different words, what's ordinary would desire to be bigger to typical status ... the christians are in contrast vs people who're for it. wager what is going to ensue ... people who stand against it .. the christians will get carry of the Seal of God ie. the Holy Spirit. whilst destruction consists of injury the cities that crumple to gay demands, those with the Seal of God is in simple terms not touched by potential of the destroying angel. you prefer to u/stand why no pity is shown to the depraved ? first, you will desire to examine up on the regulation of Moses. Any transgression a criminal offense would be dealt with for this reason. So in case you're a determine who engaged in premarital intercourse and convey a ******* ... sprint the toddlers ... who's fault is this ? God's ? verify right into a psychological asylum ...

Generalizing only makes you look ignorant. Making personal attacks on someones beliefs or making assumptions on a belief that you do not subscribe to also makes you ignorant... and ridiculous. Didn't your "mommy" teach you how to "play nice". Stupidity means not having the ability to learn something.... ignorance means having the ability and choosing not to learn.
I'd rather be around a stupid person than a person that chooses to remain ignorant.

I think you're exaggerating a little. I like to think we Christians are a little more detailed than that. If you believe in God, you take comfort in trusting that he knows the answers to questions you don't know the answer to.

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!
Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!
Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?
My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:
Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...
Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...
Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?
