Firstly, everyone has a different definition of "romantic". Secondly, women are generally better at this than men because at a young age they talk about this stuff more and they are also taught how to be romantic. I can't tell you how many couples I've worked with where the woman complains that her man has no idea how to be romantic. Well, being romantic is RARELY taught at home, at school, and certaintly not taught by a man's peers.
This is why Geoffrey Godek wrote 1001 WAYS TO BE ROMANTIC, which is a great reference for all men to have. I think women generally have unrealistic expectations of their men who have not been taught how to be romantic. Sure, you might have to TEACH them, and sure, it might NOT be as "romantic" but the bottomline here is that the most important thing here is that he wants to spend time with you and wants to please you (assuming you've both dated for at least 6 months and u have both agreed to be exclusive).
Just a thought, from a man's point of view.
