As far as I know, Diet Orange Crush is the only one that uses Splenda as an artificial sweetener. It tastes great! Why no others?

In my opinion, Splenda does taste better, which is why I don't know why they choose Aspartame.....it could be the cost though...perhaps Splenda is more expensive for corporations to bulk purchase...anyone else have input?

Although Aspartame and Splenda are both artificial sweetners, they are both DEFINATLY NOT THE SAME. They have completely different molecular structures. Hense the difference in taste.

For a while after Splenda was created there weren't enough manufacturing facilities to provide it to all soft drink companies. Now some have it....but brands like Diet 7UP will go back to aspartame shortly.

NO Kidding!!! Splenda tastes so much better!! Try diet root beer- it doesn't have that diet-y taste either. Also there is a diet coke now that is sweetened with splenda.

Splenda is still little-known in the food and beverage industry and as far as I know is the ONLY artificial sweetener not to be approved by FDA.

to me. splenda is not good in cold drinks/food...
i DO like it in hot beverages/food
