It really depends on the guy you're with. If a girl really likes the guy it doesn't matter what you both talk about you both are enjoying eachothers company. Now if you notice that both of you are quiet, and really have nothing to talk about then I say she's not really interested or she's very shy. Definitely dont just talk about yourself. When my husband was my boyfriend we talked about everything. If its the first date you'll both be nervous, but if you notice that there is chemistry then somehow the conversation just takes its own direction from there. Just be yourself and have fun.

I think good topics for a date is hobbies, and how much interest the other shows towards that, family is good. Getting to know if they have brothers or sister. Also friends. It kind of helps to understand what kind of person the other is. Oh, I know a favorite of mine is how the mullet is making a come back with a vengeance, especially in Germany. It's crazy, but almost every guy here has one.

Girls talk about anything on a date. Most of the time, they just want you to listen so listen but not like a donkey. Give feedbacks, positive ones and advises, logical ones.

themselves!!
lol

i have 2 very good male mates and we often go out on a weekend and we talk about anything! but then we are mates rather than on a date so there is less tension i suppose.

as long as you both feel comfy the conversation shuold flow, or failing that and you're old enough, get the alcohol flowing instead!

and don't mention your gorgeous ex girlfriend who you thought was an angel and you miss her terribly! lol

Haven't you noticed that guys on dates just talk about themselves and the girl is lucky to get a word in!

For my expereinced with girls I had dates, depend on them..some like fashion, college games, incoming programs, latest movies, but I was bored if these items be discussed too long. I rather invited them into a movie, then took her in a fastfood, then rest inside a motel before saying goodbye...

anything, im quite shy and not much of talker so i like it when a man can talk about some thing he's interested in but envolve you in it, ask our opinions ect, tell you things you didnt know before. Also talking about general things you like/dislke allows you to get to another and exchange opinions

They like to talk about their interests - I went on a date with a girl recently and before we knew it four hours had flown by talking about photography, literature, travel, wine, our upbringings, interests, and amazingly she also asked about whether I had had bad experiences with blind dates! If all goes well hopefully you'll end up talking about when you'll meet up next!

this is fairly simple, just listen to them mate and answers any questions, or agree with a statement, women after all are not that different from men, they get shy, they get flustered..... listen and take it from there, you'll need a ice breaker, somet' to get the ball rolling, but listen smile and be a gent, she'll just melt then, if not lucky escape....

Enjoy.
