It is about faith in a truth. The faith is something that is practised. Some people do make up their own religions. But most accept the ideas passed down through multiple generations, as well as the ideas thought about and discussed and debated for millenia concerning faith in the form of religion. It's like this: if you wanted, you could insist on re-doing every experiment ever known, forming your own scientific theories; however, you'd probably want to instead have faith in most of the theories and ideas and experiments that people you trust shared with you.

Hey! That is an excellent idea. Maybe I'll start a new one. I just have to figure out what hasn't been done before and what people will believe. Hmmmm....we have so many society approved myths already. Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Santa Clause.....that's a tough one.
I wouldn't feel right using a Higher Power as a reason to control others. No! My answer is No! Let each person walk their own path...I would prefer not to be responsible for teaching another person a religious belief that may not be correct...I have enough guilt already for the Tooth fairy lies I've told to my children.

Funny you should ask? Many people do.You know this may sound crappy.Think of auto insurance;everyone thinks it is a waste of money.Until of course you get pulled over, get into an accident, your vehicle gets stolen..then your insurance company is your best friend.
9 out of 10 "non-believers" pray to god on their death bed....
My friend don't ask why....Don't even question...you were born, you are living, and one day you will in fact die. The best insurance policy is free. No paperwork , no signatures , only a private commentment betweeen you and the lord. So take it,love it,appreciate it.
I promise you;beyond a shadow of a doubt;you will use it,and when you do you will know it was the single most intelligent decision you ever made about your future.
So to answer your question correctly.....you can can make up your own religion....In America you can do anything. But then you are responsible for everyone who buys your policy. And look at all the insurance companies that get sued!

I guess its an entire lifestyle , n i there will b more than one follower of the faith , and one needs to answer all the questions, n yes if someone has the vision ,he/she should go for it n create a new faith but i think theyll end up as a bunch of confused followers and ultimately revert back a more prophised faith.

This is all about the Truth, no faith and no unsubstantiated hope:
"Rational Spirituality"
on the Dhaxem website.
A thinking person's understanding of God and the Universe, and each person's place in it.

Jesus Christ says "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
You will never know Truth while you deny God. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.

Because anywhere else but in God that I might put faith and hope is vain, empty, and useless.
Christianity is Truth, by the way.
