I have this type of recurring nightmare. I want to find someone who might know, even if it's guessing, what they mean.
It's not always the same exact events, but it's the same feelings.
It's getting to the point where i don't even want to sleep anymore. I don't want to have another one.
I don't usually get nightmares because I'm a lucid dreamer. So, this is becoming some wht of a problem to me.
I want to talk to someone. All the sites I've tried to research just give the same information on what nightmares are and who they effect. I'm really hoping someone out there can help, or knows someone who could.
Please help me! If you think you can, even if it's just maybe, e-mail me and I'll explain more in detail. I would be thrilled if someone tries to help, even if you can't.
Thank you

There are boards where people help to analyze your dreams. If you want to email me, I'll try to find them. I listed them somewhere around here. Also books in the bookstores can help. Just know you're not alone in this. Your subconscious is putting pictures in your mind to represent something so it usualyl doesn't make sense unless it's analyzed.

I know from experience why people have nightmares. Psychologists and doctors think nightmares are caused by some psychological problem people might have, but believe me, I know from experience the real reason people experience nightmares.

And here it is: nightmares are caused by demons. If you don't believe me, just start reading, believing and understanding everything that is in the bible (old and new testament) and you will notice that your nightmares will go away in a few months.

I used to have nightmares almost every night, along with suicidal thoughts, a sincere desire to kill people, abnormal anger and I was also afraid of the dark and horror movies.

All that is gone now. In one night, I was completely cured. I will never forget that night. I was sleeping in my truck, I'm a long haul truck driver, and I was awakened by something that felt like an electric current all over my body. When I awoke I realized I couldn't move any part of my body; I then felt terribly scared and didn't know what was going on. Somehow I thought what I was feeling was the presence of demons (but I wasn't sure what it was I was feeling) and I started yelling "in the name of Jesus out of this truck"; after I repeated that for I don't know how long, I felt how every muscle in my body got tense (especially the muscles around my stomach) and I opened my mouth wide open and felt how my lips separated from my teeth and yelled out a beast-like yell. I had had a demon(s) inside my body for the past 19 years and that was the night he/they left my body. As soon as I felt that, I realized it was a demon that had just left my body and I was then able to move and I was able to get up to turn on the light.

Ever since that night, I have never had any nightmares or suicidal thoughts or a desire to kill people anymore. Whenever I get angry now, my anger is normal and not like it used to be before that night.

I attribute this to my reading and believing everything that is in the bible, as I had been reading it for about six months before that night. It's been 10 years now since I had that experience and, from that night on, I have never had any nightmares anymore.

I have a similar experience. The nightmares aren't the main point, it's the terror I feel during them. Anyway, the doctor said I have post traumatic stress disorder. You might want to look in to it. I thought that PTSD meant I had to be reliving something or having flash backs, but it can also manifest as weird night terror / nightmares. My doctor gave me some pills that are supposed to help called Prazosin, but I'm not taking them so I don't know if they work.

recurring nightmares is a sure sign that something is bothering you. In your wake, try to find out what it is that is bothering you. First of all, you need to explain your nightmare in details before it can be interpreted.

take the moral of the dream and see how it applies to your life..
then see if there is something needing to be fixed or adjusted.
if it's a nightmare in which you fear, try to find the source and face it.
or go to a psychologist
