they make them look so darn easy on the info-mercials. They aren't! I bought one and I'm not exactly a fitness freak but I am pretty healthy and i struggled to do one rep! That was an abroller though. Hurt my neck!

I am sure they will... but most of them are harder than they look!

Of course good abs can be had if your other muscles are toned and are not severely overweight and your diet is under control.

For example if you weighed 270 lbs and were 6 ft. tall and had a bulging belly, those abs machines will work only after you lose the fat around your stomach by diet and cardio excercise.

I've tried a lot of different kinds and the best one for me is the Ab Lounge. I've been in a lot of accidents so this machine is great on my back and neck. It really works!

They are probably better than sit ups. But if you really want to tone the abs then crunches are the best. Do them slowly though and make it burn. Just don't over do them or you will have a dull ache in the stomach for days.

They work, I guess, by helping in the movement of your torso as though you're normally doing sit-ups or crunches. I personally don't use them, I do normal sit-ups and crunches. To me ab rollers don't look too good because they may put unnecessary strain on the back.

They will work the abs but if you're expecting a sudden disappearance of your pot belly or pregnancy overhang - forget it. The abdominal muscles will get hidden underneath the fat. Best get rid of the fat first, then worry about the aesthetics.

Depends if you use it. I bought a Mr Motivator one years ago and it stayed in the cupboard for years until finally it went up the dump.

They do not allways work because they just build muscle under the fat you have in ur stomach. It is best if u do cardio and burn the fat but u can not pick u want to burn off the fat it just comes any were the best way to burn fat is to do cardio.
