I have asked myself the same question. I would guess for the points. However, these uneducated and ridiculous answers are getting tiresome. I think the purpose of this site is for enlightment and education and it has become a war zone for some, the insults are disgusting, and I question whether some of these people have any brain cells.

-It's can be a way for them to vent out some of their frustrations or ridiculed other people's ideas, actions, or intelligence.
-Some just do for the two points (though they put no amount of effort into answering the question.)
