Because men usually only think about this week or maybe next month. If women begin to get serious about a man they need to think about the kind of life the two of them will have together, what are her wants, needs, and expectations for life, and will this man be able to help provide for them? How about kids? Will this man be a good father and be able to help afford our children the building blocks and advantages in life that will help them to lead successful lives? That is why money is important to women. Of course there are lots of women who marry men without money too... but these are the kinds of things that women think about while guys are trying to decide who to start or to bench in fantasy sports.

If a woman wants children and she has a choice between a poor man and a rich man...its a thing that will favor the rich man. Common sense.
