Hello kindness!! :o) I hope you're OK. I think that was a great question. It's sad that so many Atheists are SO insecure that they couldn't really respond to it. [At least not without attacking you] That said... I wonder what horrible thing some 'Christian' DID to them that caused such deeply felt hatred of Christianity. It's not just a normal dislike either. The hatred that many Atheists have against Christians is no different [and certainly no more reasonable] than the hatred a white racist has for a black man. [or visa-versa] Have a great day, kindness. Craig!! :o)

I'll question him to find out , why and what makes him think of such stupid thoughts. If he still wants to follow the stupid Christianity. I'll stick him to a cross..

please don't ask stupid questions. Next generation will create more Bill Gates and Alberts. Not Osamas or G, Bushs.

It's 'atheists'. Plural. Come on, you're not a dolt.

What would I do?

First I'd have the child examined for brain damage. Then I'd make sure they weren't involved with any brainwashing cultists, like fundamentalists. Then I'd have the childs blood checked for narcotics or hallucinogens. Then I'd have a therapist make sure there were no signs of schizophrenia. Then I'd have MY blood tested to make sure it wasn't someone elses child. If ALL of those things proved negative, I'd explain to them the collossal waste of time in trying to turn my mind into mush and then I'd make dinner.

Calmly reiterate my point: either you live by mysticism, force, begging and thievery, or you value hard work, intelligence, reason and fair trade. You can't have it both ways, you have to stand up and be a man for one or lay down and become a slave for the other, and I won't tolerate evil insane foolishness in anyone around me.

My child wouldn't do that. I'd teach him/her to respect other people's beliefs or lackthereof.

My kids won't be religious though. I'm not worried.

I would teach him or her that the bible approved slavery. I'm black by the way

I would have a daily debate until he snaps back into reality

When he's immature you can still control him and bring him back to atheism....but you can't control him when he grows up and can analyze and compare.

So teach him to like all religions and respect them.

I'd tell them that though I'm fine with their choice of religion, I'd be somewhat disappointed that they had discarded my ideal of respecting the beliefs of others...and that it's not exactly honoring thy mother.
