No, it's not true... anyone with hair can get headlice.
However, there have been claims by some Afro Americans that the lotion they use for their afro hair and scalp deter lice.

I doubt it. Headlice live in the scalp. Color or race has little to do with parasites.

its definetely not true. race has nothing to do with whether one gtes lice or not.
however, many afican americans have braided hair or dreadlocks. this would make it harder for the lice to live/accumulate. so that may be why you heard it

yeah, lice dont like the hair. it has something to do with the texture of it. Lice cant grib it or something like that. Its really weird but its true.

Yes anyone can get lice
But......
its mostly caught by younger people w/ virgin hair (meaning never processs, such as color or perm)...
Lice can no live in process hair.
