OK, but the people who were responsible were obviously not true Christians.

Yes James.

That is a fact that the modern Christians today can't or won't accept.

The Crusades, The Inquisition, The Slave Trade, The Ku Klux Klan, The Holocaust (secretly approved by Roman Catholic Christian Leaders), The Genocide in Bosnia.

Sad but true.

Religion is the source of most wars, particularly in the Middle-East. War=Death. Christianity happens to be a rather large religion, so I suppose it is very plausible.

I would be interested in where you found your stats. I looked and came up empty handed.
This could very well be correct if you take in consider the entire history of Christianity. Burning times, etc.

Did you know that if Christ saved only one human soul that this would be 100% more than anyone else who ever lived, is living, or will live had, has, or will have the power to save?

I have heard that Christian wars have taken more lives than any other in-the-name-of-religion wars. I would not be surprised if you had research to back up your claim. Have you taken the time to interpret your conclusion, however? Or have you just stopped at the first thought? Death=Bad?

HOly Crap! You COUNTED them ALL?!!!!

well, in recorded history, anyway. Qualify that please. It's only been 2000 years.

I wonder how many people died during pagan times. I heard Ceasar's generals had every 10th man in the military executed at random just to keep order. Did you count that?

Did you know that you can take any statistic you want and use it in whatever way you want. Until you know how the stats were gathered and who gathered them, I'd question it. So many people died merely of the flu, it was unbelievable.

interesting
not thought of that before but think you may be off a little
if you look at the history you will see that the belief of God weather you Christen or not isn't the point. look at the holy wars. over the century's it has been Faith based wars that have claimed the most lives in my opinion.

That could entail it some sort of bragging rights. It's from the Middle East, you know, and they seem to dig this sort of thing.
