Yes, as it clearly states in Economiclassians 37:12. 'And though a foul wind bloweth, a stench so unholy it singes the hair and leaves no clean air, the Lord, ever so merciful, grants His Grace unto that's wind's bearer. And Lo, even as such wind sickens the heart and mind and lost lunch pools in corners, the bearer can be held blameless for such is the Will of the Lord'.

Haha apparently God made human beings the way they're, so technically he made you fart. Its his fault for providing you with a digestive equipment and a longing for refried beans. therefore its probable cool and God will forgive you

Well it depends. Was the preacher standing up there giving you "god's word" when you were farting or did you fart during a song, prayer, or quit time?

If you farted during the preacher then god might thing you were trying to add to his word. For this you would have ask for forgiveness.

If you farted during a song did you release the fart as a sound of praise or as a sound of blaspheme?
If it was as a sound of praise then it was a joyful noise unto the lord and there is no reason for him to forgive you. However, if it was as a sound of blaspheme then you will need to ask for forgiveness. (Unless of course it was suppose to be a blaspheme unto the "holy spirit". If you were trying to blaspheme the "holy spirit" then you committed the unforgivable sin and you are destined for hell even if you ask for forgiveness.)

If it slipped during a prayer then I am sure god will understand and you don't need to ask for forgiveness.

If it was during a silent time (intermission or something like that) then you don't need to ask for forgiveness either.

Or you could just not go to a church that believes in such a sadistic god that thinks that human nature is a sin. Christianity is a plague of insanity in our society. Its teachings and ideas of god are twisted from the natural view of god, and all of this was made so that you would learn to submit against your nature.

No Truly good god would think it was a sin to be born like the Christian god does. (Refer to the sin nature doctrine in Christianity to learn more about how you sinned against their god by being born.)

I haven't heard or read anywhere that farting was a sin. You should be safe.....unless the people sitting in the pew near you, have a problem with it????

As long as It was not an SBD I think you could swing it. However, you can't hide anything from God. And don't even think about telling Him, "He who smelt it, dealt it." That would definately be a smiteable offense.

@$$hole... ANYway! I don't think God would actually need to forgive you, considering that farting isn't really a sin. :)
