I'm very glad to hear you don't drink or use drugs. That makes for a horrible combination to meet people.
So, hopefully in your case you're a believer of sorts because I think church socials are a wonderful way to meet single people.
Plenty of churches nowadays have single dinners and such. And I know you don't have to be a full blown Jesus Freak to attend. They're just people like you trying to find love, or just some company without having to go to the bar or club scene.
You're already on the right track by being sober......give it a shot.

i don't think you want to meet girls at the bar or the club. They might not even remember you the next day. If you don't drink or do drugs than don't start. There are many places you can go to find girls. At the mall, grocery stores, at church gatherings, a community event, online, dating chatlines that are free, or even through a friend. Where ever you decide to go GOOD LUCK! =D

Do you belong to a church?
Alot of churches have singles groups, including monthly activities and online profiles. That way you won't get stuck with a barhound or drug addict...most likely...
