House flies have a very different type of mouth. A fly's mouth is more like a sponge. A fly releases fluid to soften food, much as you might dunk a doughnut or a cookie..
The fly then absorbs the softened food by sucking it back in.
Some insects, like mosquitos, have a mouth which resembles a hypodermic needle for punturing skin.
Other insects have mouths which are more like a hose, for getting nectar out of flowers.
Not all creatures have mouths with tongues and teeth.
