A totally nonsensical, meaningless term.
1.There are three attributes of existents which concern us particularly, these being:
A.Primary Attributes
B.Secondary Attributes
C.Relational Attributes.
2.B as well as C are dependent upon and must be related to an existent’s A in order to be considered meaningful.
3.The term “God” lacks a positively identified A.
4.Because of this, the term “God” holds no justified A, B, or C. (From 2)
5.However, an attribute-less term (a term lacking A, B, and C) is meaningless.
6.Therefore, the term “God” is meaningless. (From 3, 4, 5)
7.Therefore, the god-concept is invalid.

What is theoretical calculus? What kind of answer do you want? To begin with, any God small enough to fit the finite human mind, will be too small to be responsible for infinite creation. The best human minds ever to seek that answer have glimpsed an entity so overwhelming that they have recoiled in terror and generally refused to elaborate. But here's a good place to start, God cannot be intellectualized, indeed the puny human mind equipped only to percieve four dimensions cannot even accept infinite linear distance, instead escaping into such human inventions as "curved space". The best answer to your question is that the substance of God depends on your individual "spiritual" attainment. If you're a churchman you're probably happy with one or more of the myriad terrestrial spirits upon which all formal "religions " are based. If you're a liberal Harvard professor you may be quite certain that there is no such thing as "God", that's called sophomore atheism. If you've examined the barely perceptable clues inherant in your psyche, and realized that everything that exist's has a cycle or frequency, that's called Paganism. If you.......etc etc.....do you see where this is going? There are no stock answers that will even approach concensus. Is there a God.....you better believe it! I like Carl Jung's answer when asked if he believed in God...."I don't need to believe, I know"! There is little use in trying to go further into the subject, because at that point it ascends steadily into a discipline with syntax and paradigm unaccepable to the academic and unknown to the general public. It is said that less than one in fifteen thousand reaches enlightenment and becomes aware of the life force that motivates all things. That force is the supreme God. It is not a secret order, it is simply an infinite "mystery" and although it's seed can be found, the vine which grows from that seed reaches into forever both foreward and backward and it's end can never be reached. Even the barest concept of "God" completely transcends language. That's called ineffable.

fred,
And what is God? A Spirit. St. John the 4th chapter, Jesus speaking to the woman at the well, He said, "God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth." What is God? Love. What is God again? That's Him that you feel in Your heart. God is love. Was He something that once lived and now is passed away? He said, "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Lo, I am with thee always, even to the end of the world. Yet a little while and the world seeth Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." What is God? God is a great eternal.

god is a figment of one's imagination that cannot be proven, nor disproven. some say its better to believe in a god, than not at all, because if there is no god, then nothing happens, but if there is, then woe unto you.
i disagree with those people. if it turns out that there really is a god, then i think that god wont hold non-believers accountable. most believers will disagree with me because my theory takes away their power and their reason for believing... why believe when it doesnt matter?
