Genesis has all the answers that we have. We have only hints in the Old Testiment such as "I AM" which seems to indicate that God had not truly defined himself to man at that time. The only clear thing evident is that he has existed eternally and whether that is in a closed loop "I am the Alpha and Omega" or what the terms of his existence are. No one truly knows.

i think of the 2d financial disaster is telling us different areas of a similar activity tale. God reformed the earth after it had become "vacancy and waste (break)" (Genesis a million:2). The Hebrew lexicons could be useful sort your opinion in this remember. the concept is asserted as the hollow concept of Genesis a million:a million-a million:2). yet as for the 2d financial disaster, from what i will tell, focuses on the backyard of Eden particularly. What i'm implying is that this: God made the earth, beings, not guy, settled on it and had cities geared up. They accumulated in those cities and (i think of) the insurrection got here approximately. God destroyed the earth then remade it for his applications with guy afterwards. Jeremiah 4 has some thrilling issues to declare that are equivalent to Genesis a million. I easily have extra commerce meanings to the Hebrew words so as that the classic translated would not conceal what's being reported. Jeremiah 4 23 I looked on earth, and it became formless and empty; and on the heavens, and their mild became long previous. 24 I looked on the mountains, and that they have been quaking; each and every of the hills have been swaying. 25 I looked, and there have been no human beings (Hebrew- no Adam or guy); each and every chicken in the sky had flown away. 26 I looked, and the fruitful land became a barren area; all its cities lay in ruins earlier the Lord, earlier his fierce anger. 27 it quite is what the Lord says: “the full land would be ruined, nevertheless i can't harm it thoroughly. 28 as a result the earth will mourn and the heavens above strengthen darkish (Hebrew- inkish; blackish- with the connotation of the colour of mourning, I presume the colour of outer area had replaced), because of the fact I easily have spoken and could not relent, I easily have desperate and could not turn lower back.”

According to the scripture, God is the Alpha and the Omega. I guess this is supposed to mean the dude is the beginning and the end. Therefore, the place where he lived had to exist after he came into existence. So the answer is that poor God was homeless for about an eternity or so.

There's none. This might be a good quote to think about: "To explain the origin of DNA/protein machine by invoking a supernatural Designer is to explain precisely nothing, for it leaves unexplained the origin of the Designer. You have to say something like 'God was always there', and if you allow yourself that kind of lazy way out, you might as well just say 'DNA was always there', or 'Life was always there', and be done with it." -Richard Dawkins
So pretty much...there's no Biblical explanation to rebuff that. I'll leave my REALLY personal feelings out of it...but I am essentially on the same page as Mr. Dawkins--who wrote The Blind Watchmaker, etc. Ton's of other stuff too.
Alucard: it's an excellent question. One of which, you won't be able to get a real answer for. If creationists don't know something, they tend to make it up. Blind Watchmaker is an OK book, but Dawkins just came out with "the God Delusion"....should be interesting. One person that answered the question actually had an answer I could almost buy....he said something like: we can't think in terms of God's time or existence. While I'd take "God" out of the time equation, I agree with that statement...humans think in terms of decades, not in terms of billions of years. It's a main reason many people can't accept evolution and natural selection. Wish I could help you on the creationist stance, but I'm not a creationist. And the thing is: there are literally about 20 different types of creationists, and they all think different things. I've seen several creationist/evolutionist debates...and the creationists always tend to throw things that are either completely false, or do not apply to the situation. In short, they are very slippery, sneaky, and usually don't even care about God one way or another....they are simply promoting their own agenda. I'm talking more of the famous creationists like Kent Hovind (with his fake PhD). Good luck with your question...I think it'll warrant some interesting answers.

Before all the "wheres" were created there was no "where." Keep in mind the scripture says that
Colossians 1:16
"For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him."
However, scripture does not say that God created Heaven, but the heavens. The scriptures say God's throne is in Heaven.
Job 16:19
Even now my witness is in heaven; my advocate is on high.
Hebrews 11:3
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
Therefore Heaven is not of this universe.
God exists in a dimension we do not perceive, but we may contemplate.
It also says we are made in His image. Humans do not exist solely in the physical realm, but in fact also exist in part of the spiritual realms.
This reveals the nature of the Holy Trinity, the one God.
The Father is God as He exists in Heaven, not in this physical-spiritual realm of humanity. The Son is God as He exists in this physical realm in which we exist. The Holy Spirit is God as He exists in the spiritual realm that we also exist in. One God. Three distinct persons/modes/aspects. We see through a glass darkly for now, but it will be more clear one day.
Realm...essentially dimension...plain of existence...continuum...
And the limitation of humanity is to believe that the physical realm is the end of reality, ignoring the other very real realms.
God created Heaven, but after that the heavens and the earth.
And God existed before any where.

One of the greatest verses of the Holy Qur'an is called "Ayat-ul Kursi" which roughly means the Verse of the Throne. First I'll quote the verse's English translation, than answer your question:
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Allah! There is no God but He,
the Living, the Self-subsisting, the Eternal.
No slumber can seize Him, nor sleep.
All things in heaven and earth are His.
Who could intercede in His presence without His permission?
He knows what appears in front of and behind His creatures.
Nor can they encompass any knowledge of Him except what he wills.
His throne extends over the heavens and the earth,
and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them,
for He is the Highest and Most Exalted.
So from the verse "His throne extends over the heavens and the earth" we can see that God's throne is much greater and more vast than the heavens and the earth. Heaven and Earth are creations of God and can therefore not contain God. God is infinite while the creation is Finite.

There was no physical universe, there was no dimension that we measure in time. Without time and without physically, there was only a complete force of unlimited potential energy. That force parted with a portion of its energy to trigger the series of reactions that resulted in the universe that we have named the big bang. That really is the only explanation of the origin of the universe. It is consistent with science and with Judeo-Christian thinking. The role that force takes in the operation of the universe or whether that force cares whether it is referred to as the Lord or Allah or whether or not its last named is Dammit is beyond the scope of your question.

Apple computer????
heresy...it was a "trash 80"
God existence - as was reported in genesis-was and is ineffable to the human mind...humans cannot comprehend the total otherness of the godhead.
your assumption that somehow god is anthropomorphically similiar to humans is incorrect....if you believe genesis, it says that man was made in the image and likeness of god
the reverse is not true
this means that god does not have an infinite, supernatural body out in space, the universe...where ever????
if anything , the reference is the the spirit/soul of humans...NOT the physical existence...
so...god doesn't "live" "stay" "reside" "hang" anywhere
that's what humans do; god is NOT a extra special human...

If one believes God is "God", then he is omnipresent. Therefore, he is everywhere always. Moreover, he says he is the Alpha and Omega...the beginning and the end.....meaning he is the start of everything and the end of everything. Bottom line, we as human think in terms of time and our present dimension. He IS time and dimension; therefore, our mental capacity to understand "where" God came from is incomprehensible. He simply isn't limited to our faulted and limited sense of the universe as we understand it.
He has always been.
