Lol no, he is not drunk. Maybe he's starting to realize how valuabe you are to him, and he wants to show you that he cares. Probably he was going through some hardship or problems, and didn't have the clear mind to be a good boyfriend to you. But now, you should welcome his gestures, and casually and sweetly ask him how life at home is.
