There are possible motives for this that does *not* contain cheating. a million. He would have picked those up because of the fact it became into unfastened. Did he circulate to a college or wellness middle at the instant? If not, then you definately've reason to be suspicious. 2. Are those everyday condoms or a particular sort - like ribbed, better skinny, fireplace and ice form...and so on. He would desire to prefer to attempt some thing new in mattress with you. in the event that they are in simple terms typical condoms, you have reason to be suspicious. Be alert, yet do not confront until eventually you collect extra evidence.

I'm gonna waste my answer. Tell us how old son is (important to know, no?) Details, Details. Worry when you look the next day and find only two, along with a Playgirl mag. and a hickey. When me and my friends were 13, all of us had a condom, and some still had the same one in thier wallets at 20. Condoms come in pkgs of 3, so he probably is just being a good boyscout. Rat

Hmm...only three?
Assuming he is old enough, I just put another 3 in his pocket so he will have half a dozen for later and leave it at that.
After all, he must be on the right track if he is thinking of using a condom.

It really depends on the age of your son.11 to 15 years old probably just trying to showoff for friends or be "cool" because everyone else carries them.Above 16, be thankful he has them.I have a 15 year old son and we have an open honest relationship.I have told him when he thinks it's time I will personally go and buy his, if he doesn't.I'm not ready to be a grandmother at this age and I'm sure you're not either.Talk to him about it and promote safe sex.

Well don't flip out. he could be using them for water ballons (a condom can hold about 3 gallons of water) Talk to him about it but don't go all parental on him either. Let him do most of the talking and don't push the subject. Let him know how you feel about him having sex if he is and let him know you are proud of him for being safe and thinking with his head and not just the one he using the condom on. Let him know about the risk that are involved and most of all Don't Tell him not to have SEX cause that is a one way ticket to becoming a grandparent and don't be Judgemental either .. Be supportive and be his parent but also rememeber that he is a person and he is gonna do it no matter what

Well, 13 yrs. old is a little too young to be sexually active, but I don't think you can stop him either way. Either he's sexually active or preparing himself, and either, at least he's practicing safe sex. Considering he is only 13 yrs. old, you do need to sit him down and talk to him, whether he likes it or not, because a 13 yr. old sexually active is not healthy at all. Explain to him the consequences and responsibilities of having sex. Explain to him about sexual transmitted diseases and of course pregnancies. Since he wouldn't know the proper time of a woman's fertile periods and he wouldn't know how to avoid it, explain to him the proper usage of condoms. Make sure he understands to wear one at all times, even it means he's in a passionate moment and realizes he doesn't have a condom that under no circumstances should he have sex, unless his partner is using a type of birth control. Being sexually active is not a joking matter and shouldn't be going on at the age of 13 yrs. old.

Be glad he's smart enough to use condoms. Put the three you found back in his pocket. Make sure you give him enough pocket money so he can keep on buying them.

You should be proud and casually let him know that condoms should be preserved in a cool place, because otherwise they can break. Also, inform him about STD and contraception, and tell him condoms must be worn from the beginning to the end of sex, for both of those reasons.

you might start by remaining calm about this...being angry and upset will not help this situation (be glad he has them) and in order to "bring up the situation" about whether he is being active,
try getting involved with the girls he is talking to. if he shuts you out it's possible he doesn't want you to know about his activity and may signal that he could be having sex...on the other hand, he might just have them for "in case" measures and may not be active at all...just hoping to be. Whatever the case is, get involved with his life as a mother and do what you feel is best.
