Put them in very hot water. The wax will melt just enough to make it easy to pry out with a butter knife.

I always pour the wax into an double boiler(if you don't plan on reusing the wax toss it in an old tin can or coffee can) while it's still warm and liquid. Then let it get hard and you can scrape it out with a knife. If you're a craft nut-keep it int the old sauce pan (double boilers are best-the wax won't burn when you reheat it) until you have enough to melt down and make a new candle-this also works with chunks of bath soap

This VERY easy. All you have to do is run hot water in the candle holder. this will loosen gobs of wax and after that-- If necessary?-- use a lil more hot water and a lil deterg. You will have a brand new clean glass holder when you are through.

Set it on A candle warmer or the stove as low as it will go. When wax is melted pour it out and start over.

Hot water will losen the wax ,then you can pry it out with a butter knife. Use dawn liquid to get the residue the candle leaves behind. Also helps to add a lil vinager to the water, then there won't be any residue at all.

Use a hair dryer on low heat then scoop out with paper towel. Paper towel wax should stick to it.

I've never tried it, but I heard once that you put them in the freezer and once the wax is frozen you can easily chip it out. Good luck! Let me know if it actually works.

put the candle holders in the freezer, when the wax is really cold, chip it off with a nail file or paring knife, then polish off the residue with a cloth.
