Reindeer!?
I suppose you've never eaten venison. Nothing wrong with elk meat, less fat than beef steak.
They eat pickled cabbage and their sausages don't taste like bangers. In the north they eat more fish.
If you really can't face any of that, why don't you stay home?
Consolation: you could live on bread and jam. Polish black cherry jam is superb.
Oh, and you're almost bound to find a MacDonald's, but I wouldn't class that as normal food.

Venison actually tastes better then beef.
The Elk was extremely tender and juicy.
The Bear was a very tough piece of meat.
The Alligator wasn't very good. Actually, gator makes me sick thinking about the taste now.
Just order the Rocky Mountain Oysters and you'll be fine.

elk meat is actually quite tastey. It's much more flavorful than beef, but it has a little bit more fat because elk live in colder climates. But don't worry, they'll probably still have plenty of "normal" food there too, but I would encourage you to try some new things. You never know, you might like it.

Elk is yummy - I've had and made steak and roast. Reindeer shouldn't be much different. They have any and every kind of food possible - don't worry about options. It's not all ethnic food. You can always find a Micky Ds.

My friend goes to Poland often he says the food is great and so are the people. Its like going back in time 40yrs when people actually talked to each other and are polite , so my friend says.

reindeer and Elk is no different to eating Venison (deer), and if cooked well can be a great alternative to sometimes bland beef.
Try the local fare - you'll be surprised.

I don't know about reindeer, but I've had elk steak and it's delicious. Kind of like beef, but juicier and tastier. You should like it just fine.

Why do they sound yuck? It's probably not much different to eating cows and sheep and pig!
I'm sure they eat plenty of "normal" food just like us.
