Why do you want a jerk for a boyfriend? Do you introduce him to family and friends like this, "hi, I'd like you to meet the jerk I'm dating, his name is Todd and he yells at me when I have an opinion"? I didn't think so. So if you're not prepared to call a spade a spade you need to move on, trying to reason with him in his current state of mind is not going to change anything, I know this first hand. After a seperation from each other, who knows.

It's pretty obvious that you think everthing he says or does is wrong, as well.
It sounds like you think you're perfect. Need to do something about that before you become old and lonely or divorced many times.
I apologize about what I'm saying if 'unappreciating' means cheating, beating you, or generally an angry guy. Otherwise, you are going to have problems if you think everyone is supposed to cater to you.

If your in a good relationship you should be able to speak with your partner about how you feel. Open communication is very important in a relationship. If you don't feel like you can express yourself without him getting upset than maybe you should think about ending the relationship and find someone who will value the whole concept of relationships. It sounds like your on a one way street going the wrong way.

WHY is he your boyfriend?
The "right" person makes you feel better about yourself. The "right" person is you Life Companion, whome you know will stand by you and with you no matter what the world throws your way. The "right" person helps you grow. The "right" person doesn't YELL at you!
Anyone can tell you they love you. But what do his actions say? You only get one life to live. Is this how you want to live it?

fricken punch him in the face! i swear, im a bit of a feminist and guys like these piss the hel out of me. he deserves to get kicked in the crotch for being such an immature asswipe. you honestly dont deserve this kind of attitude from a guy whos supposedly your boyfriend. a good boyfriend would listen and appreciate your perspective and views on things. so if hes being an ashole, dont deal with it, sweetie.

I'm sorry for you !
Why stay around someone like that ?
He does't respect you that's for sure.
Tell him that he's hurting you by acting that way, tell him you have the right to have other opinions and that his aren't always right, try to communicate with him as much as possible and if it leads nowhere...
Good luck !

If he thinks everything you think or say is wrong, why even bother trying?? Whatever you tell him be sure to do it while walking out of his life.

You are defiantly with the wrong person, leave him because there are a lot more nice men out there. There are men who will appreciate you for who you are.

Just say these exact words...
"Why don't you appreciate me anymore?"
They usually feel sorrry for you. Tell them that you want to break up if he yells.
