Guava Stew
Recipe #86082
This is an absolutely delicious dessert. It is actually a guava custard which we have always called stew. My hubby fave dessert. You can use ready made custard powder and make custard that way too and add the prepared guava to the hot custard.

45 min 15 min prep
Change to: servings US Metric
1/2 kg guavas (big ripe ones even a slightly over ripe but unfermented guavas will do)
water
4 1/4 cups milk, divided
1 tablespoon cornflour (or more if thicker custard reqd)
12 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1. Boil the guavas till cooked.
2. Cool.
3. Remove the centre pulp with seeds and cut the outer fleshy part (with the skin) into bite sized pcs.
4. Strain the inside pulp thru a metal seive.
5. Mix with the fruit.
6. Bring the 4 cups milk to a boil and then simmer for around 2 mins.
7. Add the sugar and stir till sugar dissolves.
8. Dissolve the cornflour in the 4 tblsp milk (use more if need be) and add to the simmering milk.
9. Stir well so that no lumps form.
10. Add the vanilla essence once the custard thickens.
11. Add the guava and mix.
12. Taste for sweetness and adjust accordingly.
13. The custard should not get too thick as it is meant to be like a stew (the consistency of pancake batter with the guava pcs floating in it).
14. So take it off the fire before it thickens too much.
15. (But you can make it thick if you prefer it that way) Serve chilled.
16. Enjoy!

Not really sure what you are looking for 'cause I can't find that anywhere and a lot of bartenders make up there own drinks and names. If this was a shooter maybe the following is what you wanted. It would be helpful to know how it was served and possible ingredients like was it frozen, on the rocks or what.

Guava berry Kamikaze (1st)
Ingredients 1 oz Vodka
1 oz Guava berry Schnapps
sweet sour mix

Instructions ice (shake) rocks or up (use 1/2 amount of mixes for shots) Add 2 oz flavor mix or Schnapps for a Cherry, Peach, Blackberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, or Wild berry Guava berry Kamikaze
