Why do Republicans contradict themselves?

They say they invade Iraq to promote American freedom, liberty, prosperity and so on. In other words, they supposedly supported the war on humanitarian reasons... yet, they want to kick out immigrants that come south of the border. Didn't they want to promote prosperity on other people? They build walls in the border, didn't they wanted to share and promote liberty?

So I guess they just went to Iraq for the oil, and for their companies to get richer selling all the war material to the army.

Yes. They may break laws about identity. But who wouldn't do it if you don't have anything to support your family with.

Plus, Americans also invaded an independent country such as Iraq. In which U.S. Laws don't apply but Iraq's. Did they respect them? no. Did they respect the U.N., no.

Second, you are generalizing. You cannot say all illegal immigrants rape and destroy the country. Sex criminals are sex criminals, illegal or not... and they should be punished. U.S. citizens also rape and commit similar crimes.

you have two different topics here... one does not support the other.

The War in Iraq is finishing up what should have happened during the Gulf War, except Daddy Bush listened to the liberals then and he stopped. The Iraqi government did not follow the rules set forth and violated them. Then following the 9/11 attack, Al Quida, which I believe both Iraq and Afghanistan supported, took the credit, and that resulted in the present day fighting. In addition, the amount of oil that America imports from Iraq is miniscul when looking at the entire picture. I did simplify this a lot.

Finally, do not just complain about Republicans contradicting themselves and/or lying, look to the Democrats for the same thing. Hillary Clinton is a joke... she supports the Mexican ILLEGALS and makes fun of other LEGAL immigrants. Her husband never inhaled and Monica never went down on him in the White House... Then there is Ted Kennedy... NEVER go for a ride with him unless you can swim and he isn't drunk! Kerry got 3 Purple Hearts during Vietnam... just as fast as he could for anything that would count... because... after 3 purple hearts, you got to come home. Yeah, he got those purple hearts, but they were for nothing stuff. Ask some of the men who worked with him. The list of lying Democrats goes on and on just as the list of lying Republicans can go on.

Then President Bush does not get any money from any of his companies while in office. The companies might be making money but he does not see any of it until after his term is over. He and Chaney turn over all controlling interest when they take office. So that means they have no control over what happens to their businesses.

The immigration problem is that the people coming across the border are ILLEGALLY entering this country. Now we are at war and ideally they could be shot on sight as invaders. However, there are too many liberal bedwetters here who would cry, so that is not being done. Although, it does seem to me that it would only take a few times of that occurring before the illegal crossing would slow down. Calling the ILLEGALS immigrants gives them a validity they do not deserve, they are ILLEGAL.Those ILLEGAL aliens are not here to immigrant and assimilate into this country and become citizens. They are here to rape, pillage, and destroy this country so that it becomes a second Mexico. They will then move on to Canada. Those same ILLEGAL aliens are criminals the moment they cross the border without a visa and anyone hiring them are criminals and need to be fined as stated by the law. I do understand why the ILLEGALS are here. However, they need to come here legally. This is not their country and they need to learn respect for our laws.

We do want immigrants to share in the American dream.. Just do it legally.

Most of the Illegals who come over the border steal someones social security number so they can work. It is illegal to do that...
They are breaking the law in the first place and continuing to do so after they come in.

Hence, they should go home and do it right...

Read your question again. The immigrants who come south of the border are from Canada. We want them here.

The ones who come north of the border are from Mexico.

On which border are walls being built? There has been talk about a fence.

Republicans are for the private sector to take care of our country.
Democrats are for the government to take care of our country.
