Paul said that I thank my God more than you all that I speak in tongues. He also said not to forbid speaking in tongues and that it was to build ourselves up and that we are not speaking to men, but we are speaking to God. I don't know how I lived without this wonderful gift. I love to worship in tongues when I enter into a slow and loving worship of my Lord and Savior after some intense and contemporary praise. My favorite music is from the Vineyard Church.
By the way. The only time an interpretor is needed is when we have unbelievers in our midst according to Paul, so that we do not sound mad.

How could a song make anyone speak in tongues? Are you saying that turning on a radio makes the Holy spirit appear? Do you think the Spirit of God needs a song to reach someone? You give proof that speaking in tongues is a false practice that does not happen anymore. Churches that do it are not bible based and the practice only serves to bring glory to the person not to God.

It is not given that all should have the gift of tongues. I don't speak in tongues... I do sometimes think in a language I don't know, but Paul said what good is this if there is no interpreter. I agree.

Why do you want to speak in tongues? Do you know that Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn and Paul and Jen Crouch are false teachers and apostates? Type Benny Hinn into the google video search engione and watch the films that pop up. Did you know Benny Hinn said that Castro would die before the year 2000? He also said that The gays in America would be killed by God by 1995. He likes to place curses on people and on one video you can see him say how wishes he could find a verse in the Bible which says he can kill his enemies and says he wishes he had a holy g-=-t machine gun to blow their heads off with. See for yourselves. I must warn you, the bible says that in the last days many wqill join the false apostate church. These fake self inspired tongues are one of the false signs of the last days. Please pray about it. God bless you.

In my opinion the gift of speaking in tongues died when Jesus' disciples died. They had the gift of speaking in tongues for the reason of communicating with people of different language, nothing more. What is the purpose when one is supposedly speaking in tongues if no one around you can understand?
