also what size and make exhaust should i put on it and where can i find after market parts for it ?

its a 5800 redline motor

4,5oo rpm is the avg. peak hp spot on a stock 305, 6,ooo rpm is safe if u dont do it all the time i have spun them as far as7,5oo rpm before they start throwing rods, next i woould use 1&5/8s long tube headers and 2&1/4 or 2&1/2 duel exhaust ebay is the cheapest place to find them

It probably redlines at 6500 unles it has a standard transmission then it won't stop until the rev limiter kicks in. True dual exhaust will kick your ride to the next level and give great sound. I like to get my racing equipment at Summit Racing check them out on the web they have all kinds of great stuff.

5.500 rpms is more like the limit, not 8.000
