My dog is 7 weeks pregnant so the vet says and she has been leaking milk for about 1 week now and she has 2 more weeks to go. I asked the vets if it was ok and they said yes but i heard that a dog will start to leak milk about a week beefore they deliver is that true? If anybody has any answers please help me. Thanks

The dog presenting some milk early is not a problem. It is just getting ready soon to birth the puppies. The lucky puppies will have something to suckle right away. Sometimes the milk doesn't come in right away and puppies need a bottle supplement. Hopefully your dog does a good job raising the pups too.
