sigh.... I tihnk it comes time 4 someone 2 give a long and good answer 2 a really dumb question. Okay, who cares if a Muslim can be a good American or not, but just 2 answer, there are many ppl whom I personally know that are like that. Now, to get 2 the rest of this....
Theologically-Allah is not limited to anything, anywhere, anyone, or anytime. meaning that Allah is the God of absolutely everything, not just the land of Arabia, besides, Iran is not an arab country and it is an Islamic one...
religiously-Islam actually brings the same message as Christianity and Jewdism originally did, and these religions are mentioned in the Holy Qur'an and in it is mentioned that you dont nesseccsarily have to be Muslim to go to heaven
Scripturally, Geographically do not make any sense
socially, philosophically, domestically, intellectually are all false(where the heck did u get these lies???)
politically-there are many Islamic leaders out there that actually support america, and not only that, you have the ability to choose who you follow for both politically and religiously
"Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic. "
(no comment. just simply ignoring this stereotype)
spiritually-(okay ur gunna ge tknocked out on this one) All over the holy Qur'an you have : Allah loves the patient, Allah loves the kind, Allah loves the good, Allah loves the truthful, Allah loves the forgiver, Allah loves gooddoers, Allah loves......
the reason that love is not part of the holy names is that all over the Qur'an u have(which is not in the bible):
Allah doesnt love the oppressors, Allah doesnt love the corrupt, Allah doesnt love the liars, Allah doesnt love the hypocrites, Allah doesnt love the ......
but Allah always leaves room for forgiveness
Let me just say in ending, dont just accept those false stereotypes, think first, then judge

Can a Muslim be a good American? According to your definition, the answer is no. If you mean can Muslims work and pay taxes, then the answer is yes. However, they do not assimilate. They intend to change America to their way of thinking.
Not all Muslims blow up things, yet "jihad in the cause of Allah" "jihad fee sybil Allah" is "fard ayn" "compulsory duty" for all Muslims. Why? There are rules from the Quran for combattive jihad.

Islam is insidious, it encroaches on a culture slowly and deliberately. Here is a document which discusses the progression of Islam in great detail (50+ pages) -- "From dawa to jihad - the various threats from radical Islam to the democratic legal order":

Is it so problematic so that you can simply say you're an American? Then, you are now not one. It's as undeniable and practical as that. No surprise no one likes you Muslims and needs all of you to be despatched out. I wager for this reason the Liberals are wasting all over the place. Because they sponsored the losers! Everywhere within the World, Islam is wasting face ceaselessly. Over 6 million Muslims have left Islam even as not up to 1 transformed to Islam and left it inside three to four months in their conversion. Over seventy five % of converts for marriage to Muslims, left their spouses and Islam inside three months of the occasion. All the Islamic Countries are actually being pressured to construct Churches and can quickly need to permit synagogues and temples there and in addition supply increasingly rights to the non-Muslims. Anti-Islamic Parties like BNP are gaining force all over the place and the Liberals will quickly be additionally ran way to their foolishness. You can see that the PC Brigades are already going for walks with their tails among their legs. And the Muslims are discovering that any act of random violence is met with instantaneous and ruthless retaliation. Muslims are actually taunted all over the place in France and Switzerland and UK, already and it is also coming in right here in USA. I would not desire to proclaim the Muslim facet, if I have been you. And, I particularly desire that individuals like Hidari could inform lies just like the Christians pronouncing that, when you consider that it is the Christians who made the rule of thumb approximately maintaining the Church out of the State, while Islam evidently says that handiest Islam will likely be the subculture and beliefs of all Muslims. People like Salma and Darkbane do constitute the common Muslim who can handiest get insulting after they not able to withstand data. On the complete, you individuals have performed an high-quality process in letting all people know the way you Muslims particularly feel, despite the fact that we did recognize that you simply have been like this at all times and handiest wanted the affirmation that you simply gave us, now.

You seem to have all the answers, so why ask the question ?
I can only agree on what you say about the religious war being bigger that we know or understand..
You forgot that there are always exceptions and I do believe there are Muslims who are good Americans, just as Christians and Jews, in all religious groups, there are good and wrong, and extremists everywhere. But to be suspicious of all Muslims in the U.S. is a bit exteme, don't you think ?
Peace be with all of us no matter what religion we practice.

Muslim fundamentalism is extreme, so is Christian fundemantalism. They both end up in kiling people. But, while not ALL Muslims are fundamentalist, neither are all Christians. So, while I agree that there is a problem at the margins, you might be surprised to find thay many Muslims share your VALUES. And at the end of the day, thats what this is all about. VALUES. The only thing I would ask the Muslims in America today, is to be more vigilant; to observe what is happening in their community and to REPORT behaviour which may result in terrorism. And, lets be honest, if the McVeys were reported, perhaps that tragedy could have been averted.

lol! I don't know where you got this from, but you are believing in something non-muslims made up about us. Whoever made this up knows nothing about Islam. It is NOT the truth. It is rediculous! We don't worship a moon god! lol! We worship Allah. And muslims don't believe in violence against innocent people. Everything you stated above is the antithesis of what Islam really is, and of what true muslims believe.

Wow. So you're saying only the sect of christians that believe the same as you do can be good Americans? That is possibly one of the most biggoted things I've ever heard.
I have an idea. Go start your own country, and it can be your own personal "christians only" theocracy. And leave the rest of us Americans alone.

You are in serious need of some home-work before you attempt even a rudimentary question in this forum.
I suggest you start out with an easy read:
"The Idiot's Guide to Islam" by Yahiya Emerick available at yr local bookstore or e-store
Hatred and bigotry is NOT an American value buddy.
