The Bible doesn't preach, or even mention 'sainthood'. It's a false religious practice.
You are simply experiencing the blackout effect of overindulgence in alcohol and if maybe you pray to God regularly, and do it in Christ's name, then he will give you the strength you need to deal.
Not some 'saint'.

Yes it will return to normal but it require time to retrieve it back. To say it completely loss is incorrect as human brain had high capability to retain and keep the memory from lost as we know that human brain devide to some type and if it lost just to alcohol consume it mean that person is unnormal and has misfunsion in his/her brain. It will recover at normal back but it takes time and to improve it back it need much more time than recovering from alcohol influence. Don't worry just relax and work hard and preseverence at will and I hope you will recover from it.

There are plenty of memory books and games on the market; just start building up your memory. At least there is scientific proof behind memory exercises.
