There are two reasons why your cat's doing that...
Firstly, cats are nocturnal animals and are more alert and active during the night. Therefore your cat's all hyper and playful by the time you get back home.
Secondly, the cat needs company. It can't play much by itself, can it?? So all it can do during the day- when you are not around- is laze around, and sleep. But when you get back, it has someone to play with.
Try getting another cat as a play companion... My cat had stopped bothering me much when I brought in another one.. I regretted the loss of attention though.. :-) so you really may not want to do that...

Cats are nocturnal animals. That means that by nature, they will sleep during the day, and "hunt/play" at night. If the kitties are disturbing your sleep, it may be necessary to place them in a different room where you can't hear them. I know it's tempting to sleep with the kitties, but sometimes the night-warriors need a space of their own :). Good luck!

circulate away the kitten, until eventually it rather is slightly older, in a kitten-evidence room collectively as you're long previous, it is going to be wonderful. circulate away water, nutrition, toys, and a muddle container there, and do away with something the kitten would desire to knock over(they are able to climb extra valuable than you think of), get tangled in(cords from blinds), or get electrocuted by potential of--unplug each and everything, or get those plastic shields for cords, and don't circulate away homestead windows open. Play with it a collectively as earlier you circulate to college, possibilities are high it is going to sleep lots of the day besides. In some months you will not would desire to take all those precautions.

I know you're probably tired & just want to sleep after work, I used to work night shift so I know all about that, but in your routine of eating, showering & getting out of work clothes slot in some time to play with & bond with your kittens. If you're really strapped for time I find tying a long piece of string to my ankle with a mousie attached to the other end works pretty well - you can be walking around tidying up or whatever & have the little ones chasing that. It would really only take about an hour of getting them running with a ball or laser pointer or something to have them get so tired they just want to sleep - they have to burn up all that energy they got when they were asleep all day!

You've got to re arrange they're sleep/play habits. If you have a lunch break or something like that try to wear em out when you're there. Otherwise, I don't know... btw... three month old kitties are naturally out of control, and love to play. I believe it to be an endearing quality of young cats. :) As they get older they will be more calm.

I had the same problem with my cat. Unfortunately for you, yours are still kittens. So there is not too much you can do except play with them to tire them out. The best time to play with them is just before you go to sleep because it will make them tired. Something that worked with my cat was to lock her in my bedroom with me when I go to sleep. This lets her know that it is time for bed, so she just snuggles up on my tummy and goes back to sleep. Get in the habit of doing this, and eventually they will learn.

How do you know they sleep and relax during the day? Mine don't. They are wild. I can tell because there are little paw prints on counters, tables, the couch cushions and pillows are flattened.
Besides, they miss you and want to play. Give them some of your time or get rid of the animals.

cats are hunters at night and they are just exercising their instinct by going absolutely insane for no reason, usually around a certain time every night. My advice? Buy some ear muffs. By the way, it doesn't change as they get older either.

Cats are night creatures. Its thier nature to be more active at night. You need to find some way to keep them awake in the daytime so that they will sleep at night.

cats are nocturnal. Night time creatures. All cats, house cats, lions, tigers, hunt and prowl at night. That is why their pupils are dialated at night. Are you sure you are a cat person? Sorry but if you don't have time to give them, then you shouldn't have them
