you can go to any shoe warehouse and purchase a pair of really good work boots for under 40.00. And ask the sales person if they have any suggestions but you'd like to stay within your budget and not spend a ridiculous amount for some work boots. Some are very good with helping you out. Good luck with that.

Whatever you get, buy the gel insoles. I've worked several jobs where I've had to stand or walk for 8 plus hours, and those things are a lifesaver, whether I'm in boots or nice dress shoes.

the most comfy shoes i ever had were nurse shoes. you can get them that look like normal everyday tennis shoes, running shoes and such. I found a black pair at walmart for 12 bucks and they are so comfy. i do a lot of walking and standing too

depending on the job you're doing, I'd say timberlands are the best boots. Shoes, that's really personal preference. Get ones that have good ankle and especially arch support.

Wear really comfortable tennis shoes, that snugs your feet and have some sort of cushion so you'll feel comfortable all day.
