If she is already eating hard food, I would suggest Iams kitten chow, Eukanuba kitten chow, or Purina kitten chow.
If she is not yet eating hard food, you should get a good kitten chow and put either water or a milk replacer (like KMR) in the bowl with it when you feed her. Once she gets the hang of eating that, slowly wean her off of it by putting less and less water or milk replacer in it.
Also be sure and feed her at least 3 times a day and always have fresh water out for her where she can find it.

All I can think of is who the hell gives up a 4 week old kitten for adoption? This is FAR too young to be away from its mother so you'll be feeding the little one kitten specific milk & slowly onto wet kitten food then dry food too. 3 or 4 times a day you'll need to keep the food up to this baby.

Four weeks is too young to be separated from mom. Best if they stay with mom for 12 weeks. If this is not possible, I would get some Just Born Kitten Milk Replacer (or other similar brand, but not Hartz). You can get small bottles for feeding this if kitten isnt old enough to lap it from a dish yet.
Also, best dry food out there for a kitten this young (IMO) is Royal Canin Baby Cat. Its smaller, so kittens can get it in their mouth. If you cant find this, try putting any premium dry food (Science Diet, IAMS, Purina ONE) in a blender on chop to make it smaller.
You can mix this with a good wet food to get the kitty interested in eating. Or soak it a min. or two in the milk replacer

You can go to your pet store and buy kitten milk. You may want to call a vet to ask about how much and how long you should feed your kitten, kitten milk. Good luck

She's a bit young to be separated from her mother. Divetalact or something similar from your vet would be a good start. It's a formula for baby animals, similar to baby formula. I raised four pewter chinchilla kittens from two weeks old when their mother went missing, they thrived on this fed through a dropper. Kittens shouldn't really be separated from their mothers until 12 weeks old, pet shops take them at 8 weeks, 4 weeks old is very young.

At 4 weeks your furbaby will be able to eat...Get can food and offer dry like kitten chow or your choice of kitten food, its smaller and has what they need in it. Do not give your baby milk whatever you do, it will have projectile poo and it will be a mess...Make sure there is water out for the baby to...

You can buy kitten formula (it kind of looks like baby formula) and you can feed him/her with a bottle specially made for little kittens. You can find both of them at your vet or Wal*Mart.
