I think this would be a great idea, why doesnt the U.S. gov't plant land mines on the border of mexico to stop all the illegal immigrants from coming in?

I think its a great idea, we should also deny the fact that there are land mines on the border to encourage them to cross.

to "ineedacar" the lazer fence would cost too much. chinese made land mines cost like a couple pennies each.

Works for me. I have no problem with immigrants coming here. I fully believe that is the purpose of this country. But how many times a day do you pass a van on the street, filled with 15 immigrants, no one speaks english and nobody even has a dtiver's license. Seems to me if the powers that be in this country really wanted to stop illegal immigration it would be pretty easy. Instead, they choose to use it simply to get votes. Let's see, in any town across america, all the cops have to do is raid the coin-op laundry mats, stop any mini-vans they see, and check the places that have dirty jobs.
I welcome people that come here legally with open arms. It is the american dream and they are welcome to it. But, those that hide here, do not follow our laws, and in doing so disrespect what this country stands for need to get out.

why dont we just make a lazer fence so when someone trys to cross they get cut into thin circles then send the mexican fragments back to mexico

i'm talking a lazer that hurts to pass turug a mine can only go about 1x1 area a lazer can go up to 4 miles and i saw a hand held pop a paloon laver for 500$ and you dont have to replace lazers becouse lazers dont explode plus a lazer can also alert the atoritys (or a farmer with a shotgun well versed in electronics) that would caust less and the burn marks would be a clear sign that there illegal immagrants a way to permantly mark an illegal and a disfigring scar that will tell them to not try again. we dont want to kill we want them to suffer the consecuencess of shunning and the leagles will be left alone...as it should be.
as for the cost, the school i go to school use ti84 calculators that they could have gotten ti83s for 25 dollers less per unit and we use dells the honda of computers when we only need a geo (hp) our goverment wants a solution that will last and are effective for a while, lazers wont rust or leave anyone out and thats my followup k

Because our government is better than Mexico's? It's not a BAD idea, per se, but better results can come from officers with guns.
Negative actions are unlikely to stop if those doing them aren't afraid of backlash. Illegals need to be stopped. The Texas/Mexican border is place where terrorists can enter the country very easily. After we've done that, then we can think about helping people who are escaping Mexico for good reason.

It is in human in the world's eyes and it never can stop any illegal to cross the border because,the Undocumented workers have nothing to loose and You and I know how much we as the taxes payers have to subsidize them. Remember right now it is 12 millions so far and 3 billion dollars they sent back every year and pay 0 taxes.The sad part is the Business in America are the one who are behind them for below minimum wages. I call it is a slave wages that the small business used them while robbing the American Taxes payers.

because we are a democratic country with laws and rules that govern the constitutionality of its people and not barbaric.
its not about the illegals crossing the border its us not adequately protecting the america interest and implementing laws with big canines

I agree that its a great idea. that way we dont shoot or kill anyone. They kill themselfs...........Oh thats a great idea and mines can be bought for pennys now a days and just think what it will do employment for some 3rd world country where they make the mines..................i will even donate money for this project and it will sure be cheaper then building the wall and placing petrols

Sorry to say but Dearborn isn't that much better than Detroit as far as crime is concerned. Maybe a little but not much.
