If it isn't a sin, it should be. At the very least, it should be a crime against humanity.

If you like WAR and people dying for no reason then be sinful and vote Republican, then you can look forward to having higher taxes, no social security when you get there, Just remember the Republicans are for the Government and the Democrats are for the People. My God don't you learn anything in school anymore?

I am a Democrat, but I have to say that the Republican party, as it was meant to be, is in itself not a bad thing. In order to balance the competing interests in a democratic government, all sides should be represented, and our leaders should compromise and listed to the people when they act on our behalf. Tracigally, this is not the current state of politics. The Republican party has been overrun by the right wing zealots and by political action committees and lobbyists from Big industry. They are using terrible judgement in governing our nation and have stopped listening to the American citizens. One should not vote "Republican" simply to keep the Republicans in power. You should vote your conscience on who you truly believe will best represent you and run an honest and law-abiding government. Sadly, most voters are so uninformed that they dont even know the names of their elected representatives, and get their political education from biased single-source news reporting, such as Bill Orielly (thats a whole different question...Bill is in my opinion the most dishonest man alive).

Excellent question.
I don't think it's necessarily a sin. There are good republicans, I suppose. The problem is that 90% of the repubs in the house and senate vote lockstep with Bush & Cheney, regardless of concience.
I think republicans should take a long hard look at their party, and decide if they really believe they are going in the right direction. They should vote their concience, and not lockstep with the neo-cons that are currently in charge.
For the record, this past week, 5 Republican Generals came out in opposition to George Bush's stance on Iraq, as well as Rumsfelds competancy.
These are REPUBLICANS on the FRONT line who say Bush is F--king up the Iraq war.
That has to mean something.

To sin in Aramaic, Jesus's spoken language, means to "miss the mark", so yeah I would have to say that voting for the Republican party would be a sin.
No, I am not that close-minded, but I really do hate Bush right now and that really compelled me to say what I said

No my friend you are voting for freedom, and if they had caught Osama on 9/10/2001 and they needed to extract information, would you want them to try anything they could to do so, or would you have rather they just ask and when Osama said 'No, I am not planning anything.' then they let him go and it would have happened anyways. So torture, well, sometimes anything has to be done to save thousands that died that day, think about it!

I know of no republicans, democrats, or independents that commit torture. Vote for the person that best represents your value system. Let God assign blame to the sinners of the world.

I don't believe that either major political party has the market cornered on evil. You have to look at the individual candidates and not just the party affiliation.
To look at just the party affiliation would be the same as saying that all persons who professed to be christians were good and should be trusted.

It should be a sin to vote for the Democrat's who want to restrict you worshiping outside of the church.
They have essentially told you not to pray in school, in public library's, or anywhere that the Government owns. They have taken people and suspended them from school for bringing a Bible. They have threatened many Valedictorians of jail time if they pray or make mention of God in their speeches...
Why would you vote for a democrat IF you are a Christian?
Oh, by the way, if you believe they are torturing the terrorist, then you are naive and a moron. They are using techniques that they have used on many citizens.. Especially ones who are holding people hostage.

Nah -- at least if you vote Republican you know you have God on your side. Vote Democrat and you have to make sure everything is okay with every religion out there so everyone feels loved and equal.
