Wellbutrin has got to be one of the most unpredictable drugs being used in mental health therapy today.
You need to get off it in my opinion, but not all at once. Wean yourself back to the original dose and see if that gets results. If not, then go from 3 pills a day to 2, or 2 pills to 1.
If this gets you results and you start feeling good again, then maybe this "therapist" can switch you to something else.
Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself. They might be "professionals", but they can made mistakes too. Too many drugs today trying to cure too many problems.
If things peter out with the lower dose, then it might be advisable to have some ativan on hand to handle these panic/anxiety attacks you're having.
Try praying to God too, it's a wonderful stress relief to have faith n your life when coping with pressures like you have.
God Bless and thanks for reading.

If you do a search on Wellabutrin dosage, you will gather more information about this medication. It appears that this drug needs to be built up over time. So, a patient could start out at 150 or 200 and build up to 300. It may be that you built up too quickly and you need to slow down a bit.

It is unclear from your post why you are taking this medication. Many people take it for depression, but you state that it is causing you to be depressed and to have anxiety.

It may be that a lighter dosage may be right for you. It may be that you will adjust to this dosage. Or, it may be that the depression and anxiety attacks are worse than whatever you had previous to taking this medication and a physician should help you switch to something more appropriate for you.

Your therapist's behavior may or may not be unprofessional. It could be that the psychiatrist did not respond to him, so he had no information for you. I don't think the therapist is in a position to deal with this situation and neither did he think so.

I think the psychiatrist's office appears to be disorganized. She should have a backup psychiatrist during the time she is not available. If she is at one place two days per week, she should be able to take calls wherever she is the other five days of the week. I would definitely get a new psychiatrist who is more available to her/his patients.

If your therapist referred you to her, then I would have an issue with him. Additionally, I would ask him why he didn't call you back on Thursday. If he has a good reason, then keep him. If he doesn't then at some point you may want to find someone else also. He could have called you back on Thursday to say that he is still awaiting a response.

Basically, this combination of practitioners did fail you. One of the key ingredients of good therapy is empathy and I don't see it here.

If you are reading this right now and are feeling the way you have described, call your local emergency room and explain the situation to the nurse. If you choose not to do that, consider going back to the 150 mg Wellbutrin until you can see your doc. It sounds like the 300 mg has made you manic or is way too much for your system to handle. I think that this is one of the meds that takes a while to build up in your system and also takes awhile to leave your system. Drink lots of fluids. It is easy for me to say and will be hard for you to do, but try to gear yourself down. Do not overstimulate yourself with loud music or heavy rock.or whatever else you might be into..gear down your environment. Call a friend over and explain what is happening with you. A true friend will understand. Cry if you want to - but wait........see what the doc says.

Yes, it is but it's very difficult to find anyone that can take care of us the way they should. It seems like we are in charge of our own health care these days and no one takes the time to really listen or do the right thing. i feel for you. If it were me I would go back to the lower dose until i was able to see the Dr. that's too long to be feeling like that and on medication that is causing it. Who knows what harm it could cause you. wellbutrin has some wild side effects, call the pharmacist, they are more educated than the Dr. on meds. anyhow. I hope they get it right for you soon. I know how it feels, been on wellbutrin, too much for me!

Change doctors and psychotherapists. You should be able to tell them the depths of your soul and they won't admit you they'll help you and suggest admitting you. for example.

If you're freaking out on your meds you're on the wrong stuff or the increase was made too quickly. write down everything you experience as a result of the meds and not been able to get hold of your doctor and your therapist been so disconnected from you, the client, which they shouldn't be - you should trust them and they should listen to you, not just take your money.

See some1 else.

I was on the wrong meds...also freaked out..did research on the internet, told my doc what I wantes, tried it, it's the right stuff for me and I'm still on it, happily.

so, do your homework. check dr's qualifications, registration number, and you probably can report them for not been available - they have a huge responsibility with new drugs and clients. I was also left to my own devices. I had to phone in when I had a problem, no checks...how are you? how are the meds?

man...some ppl. you'll be ok. change your doctor - who you think you should go to, and I hope you can do that and choose. some of us can't - we have a choice of a bad and a worse doctor, stick with the bad one. make friends with the worse one.

I am not a therapist, but I see enough of them. It is completely unprofessional on both psyche persons, not to mention very dangerous for you. If this happened to me I would seek a different set of therapists. Be calm and if necessary call the on call Dr. for that office and the answering service will call the Dr. who may then call you back.

yes this is very unprofessional. obviously you are getting the run-around. I would seek advice from some other therapist and see if they can come up with something else. I would definitely not use this one anymore even if the answers are the same cause he didn't show the concern that he should have.

I would change Dr's, this is very unprofessional, yes they are very busy, but you are suffering while they wait, he should be honest and say hey I need to check into this. It is up to you, but I think a change is needed. Stay Strong.

It is obvious that your Therapist did not have an answer for you, so he or she put you off. you need to change both of them before they completely ruin your health. The are obviously little more that pill pushers, who rely on drugs instead of finding causes.
