I can't date until I'm out of high school. I'm not being bratty about it if that's how it sounds but I just wanna know if u people think thats fare or not?

As a parent, my rule was 16 but only if my kids showed responsible behavior and showed that they could make wise decisions at that age. Which they both did. I think that only pushes a child to rebel. I think the best method is to talk to your parents and ask to come to a reasonable resolution together. Perhaps group dating. Perhaps explaining that you have made good decisions up until this age and will not defy their rules as far as curfews, etc. Try that?!. Good luck.

Nope. I deffanatly think you should be able to date MUCH earlier then OUT of highschool. WOW. I feel very bad for you. Do your parents think you are un-responsible, and thats why they dont want you dating? Try not to make so many mistakes. Good luck on convincing your parents.

Well, there is no point in dating until you're out of hight scholl, really. You will graduate and move on anyway. I didn't date in hight school. Maybe for that reason, or maybe I didn't like anyone in my highschool. LOL. Yeah, my parents didn't encourage it, either.

I wasent allowed to date till i was 18, dont worry you'll have plenty of time to date....

i think that your parents are pretty concerned with your life and they want you to be safe, respect what your parents want you to do(but there is no harm in begging them a little)
