You have asked a very good question and I'll do my best to answer it with knowledge from the Word of God.
You say that you believe in a superior being like God. Who is this superior being that you write of?
There is only one God. Just one.
Anyone else or anything else put before God is breaking His Commandments. It'll damm you if not repented of.
There are very few people in the world today that can say that they have not heard of God and His Saviour Jesus Christ. God will never condemn anyone for not having the knowledge of Him. There is a 1000 year period of time for them and anyone who has never heard the truth before.
Let me tell you a little about religion. Religion and the practice of their dogmas and theologies goes against the teachings of God and His Saviour. It often times breaks the commandments God has given us to live are lives by.
It is better for you and anyone to serve God first and then if God leads you to a church its because He wants you to help others to find Him by your actions.
You are on the right track with the way you think. Better to go to God than to this blog for advise but you are here and so am I so there you are.><>

The bible says there is none good. Yes, if you lead a life without murder (which doesn't mean to don't sin, everyone has sin), and die without professing Christ as your savior, the bible says you will go to hell.
I don't mean to insult you...but that is what God's word tells us. People are very confused about sin. They think sin is stuff like you mentioned, murder or something terrible. The bible says if you offend at one point of the law, you've offended at all of it. Therefore, have you ever in your entire life told a lie? That's it, you have sin. Now how do you rid yourself of it? Sin cannot enter the presence of a holy God? That is why Jesus died on a cross, He took the punishment of your sin...IF...you accept Him as Lord.
Yes....He is the only way.

Knowing that there is a God who made all things is a good start.
I hope you would not be offended if I ask this question.
Do you think you are more concerned about those who have never heard of Christ than Christ himself? The only reason that you are asking this question is that God is trying to talk to you about his Son.
We live in a dying world. Man and beast dies everyday and we never even care. God can choose not to save us but because of his mercy, love, and grace, he chose to send his only begotten Son to die for us.
Now religion in its many forms and names is basically only two kinds: one that teaches you to be good and work your way up to heaven and one that teaches that somebody did the good work already and paid the price for your sins and mine.
Of all the religious figures in the world, only Jesus Christ claimed to be God and rose again from the dead to prove it.
He claimed to be the only way, truth and life. He changed the course of history.
Now to answer your question, do death discriminate between just and unjust? Man or woman, Buddhist or Christian? learned or unschooled? The Bible says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and There is none righteous, no, not one. We all deserve to die and go to an eternal hell. but because Christ came, he suffered death on the cross instead of us. He didn't have to but he went to die for our sins. The world before Christ are all going to destruction but Christ came so that there might be a way back to God.
think of it this way.
there is no bridge from hawaii and the continental USA and the USA is sinking and their only hope is to go to Hawaii to be saved.
then somehow something came out of the water and bridged it by land
now that is the only way. now people who knows about the bridge will tell other people there is a way to get saved. but somehow other people who does not know is not interested in what they have to say or did not know that the USA is sinking or are following some other leader who is still trying to figure out how to be saved. The people who discovered the bridge sent out missionaries across the nation to make sure everyone as much as they can, know the way to the bridge. Then one day destruction came and drowned everything in its path. there was no one saved except those who came to the bridge.
the bible says:
God is not slack in his promise but is longsuffering toward us
He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Christ is that bridge from earth to heaven. He is the only bridge. there are no excuses after everything that he has done. He did the impossible (God dying on the cross for our sins). We are all
sinners. We might be a big sinner or a small sinner but we are all the same. turn away from that sin and trust in Jesus Christ the Lord.

If you believe in hell then it's possible you could end up there...it's just that simple. I don't believe there's only one path to enlightenment, lead an honourable life & you'll never have to worry about it. I seriously doubt that being raised Buddhist is a one way ticket to eternal damnation.

According to Christianity, yes, a sinless person who doesn't profess Jesus as God is condemned.
My religion, Islam, teaches that each person will be judged according to their own knowledge and understanding, and their own striving and good deeds.

Well, as a previous question pointed out, it says in the bible that all of creation points to god, so nobody has an excuse. So most xians would say yes... even Gandhi goes to hell. Isn't that lovely?

if you believe in a supreme being then that supreme being would be ...
supremely compassionate, supremely intelligent, supremely merciful, supremely good, kind, loving, patient etc etc
or
supremely cruel, supremely stupid, supremely merciless, supremely evil, hateful, vengeful, wrathful, impatient etc etc
i suppose it's up to you what kind of supreme being you believe in because if you chose to believe in the supremely good, loving, compassionate etc etc you need not worry about the Buddhists, Hindus, Wiccans, Muslims, Atheists, Agnostics and all the other nonChristians as your supreme being would not create an eternal torture chamber in the first place.
it would not be in His/Her supremely divine nature.
