There is a possibility that it will. Even over the counter drugs should be used carefully and a doctor consulted for long term use.
Tylenol (acetaminophen) was found to elevate readings of a liver enzyme during a 2006 clinical trial and current studies are underway to access the risk for liver damage.
The use of alcohol with acetaminophen is very dangerous and can cause liver failure.

If you overdose it, it will. You will be taken to a hospital, and they will do a blood test on you. If they find too much Tylenol in your system, they will make you to drink a glass full of liquid coal (very disgusting thing) to neutralize Tylenol in your blood before it does any damage to the liver.

I heard that it can if you take too many. Also, if you drink more than 3 alcoholic drinks per day and take Tylenol, it can damage your liver.

Yes, it can destroy your liver. I took too many Tylenols and had to go to the hospital to get my stomach pumped, I had to drink this horrible sulfer tasting liquid, and they told me not to take any Tylenol whatsoever for the next six months.
