What kind of hairspray can I use to keep a cow lick that I always have down that doesn't make hair crunchy or make it look like you have hairspray in one spot? My hair stylist put some on it to keep it down and it didn't get crunchy or noticeable but I dont know what kind it was.

Any Hair spray will work, but try a hair wax or putty, they work the same way as a gel, but they hold the hair where you want it, you can't tell that you have any in your hair unless you put on too much and it helps add texture and style to your hair. (for the amount that you should use, half of your pinky nail is enough to do your whole head, rub it in your palms, as the wax warms up, it spreads more, than just put it where ever you need it in your hair.)

Well, you could always call her and find out what product she used.

I don't opt for hairspray too often because I don't like the way it makes my hair feel, but... I have noticed that I like the aerosol better than the regular spray. A mist should keep it from looking wet or... hair sprayed :) A "Spray" just shoots out too much garbage at one time.

Good luck!

You should try a wax to keep hair in place and seal it with a light coat of hairspray! I use paul mitchell products, they are guarenteed so if they dont work u can return them!

You could call your stylist and ask or you could try using Marc Anthony hairspray. It is called Simply Straight and is in a blue can... You can probably buy it at a hair specialty store, like Ulta, or maybe even Walgreens. IDK. Hope I helped!

Why experiment...ring your hair stylist and ask him/her for the product name. They probably even sell it at the salon.
