i was with someone a year ago we had sex oh like3 times all with condms. once oral recived from both and no condms were used during oral no orgamas occured during oral. just found out, that the person just found out that they have some type of hepatitis was wonding if i might have hepatitis as well??

You really need to know what type of Hepatitis it was. If it was Hep B - this is very easily transmitted through sex and it is possible that you may have it. If it was Hep C, then the chances are extremely low. Hep C is traditionally transmitted through IV drug use and through blood transfusions given before 1992. Smaller risks include tattoos and piercings. Many studies have been done with couples in which one partner has Hep C and found that they DID NOT transmit it to their partners even when they were not using condoms. If you are worried you should go to your doctor and ask to be tested.

Listen to what Kristin C wrote to you she gave sound information in regard to hepatitis.
Don't panic just go get the test done. By the way there are vaccinations for hep A and hep B but not for hep c. These are very cheap and well worth getting a shot over.

Just get tested. If the person had Hepatitis C then, you were exposed and I would want to know. Go to the health dept. where it's sliding scale if money is an issue. Hep. C kills more people than Aides because we have more treatments for Aides than we do hepatitis C. So, to me I would have to know for sure and wouldn't leave it to chance.

It is a possibility that you contracted the disease but not likely if you wore protection. As far as the oral part goes I'm really not sure if it is spread that way or not.
