I grew up a Navy brat (Dad's a retired Seabee, 20+ years). I'm 33 now and there's really only two things I can remember from my father out of everything he sent me when he was deployed. The first, which I still have, is a heart pendant set with my birthstone. I was about your daughter's age when I received that for my birthday. The other was a Chief's sticker which I had proudly put on the back of my Big Wheel. I cried for weeks on end when one of the neighborhood kids peeled it off. Dad sent me another which went on my guitar case... which I also still have.
I'm sure anything you send your daughter will be welcomed and appreciated. It's really not what you send, it's the fact that you care enough about her to send it. She may not appreciate it now but she will later!
Good luck, be safe and thank you!

Something Disney along the Princess line, would probally be appropriate. They have all sorts of pink and fluffy stuff for dress up & play time, little purses with crowns and things like that.
Whatever you give her, try to get her a recent picture of you to put in the package too! Im sure she'll love to see your face.
happy birthday to your girl!

get her a collectable barbie that looks similar to her. or how about a little make-up desk. as a child, she may appreciate the most a picture of you glued to a (your branch) military build -a -bear.
