Well it does not certainly apply to your case as the age difference is very less . But actually its good to have an age difference in a relationship as it brings in maturity at one level and if u thing about it, in most cultures men are older than the women most of the times. So it doesnt matter at all . And if u r in eight grade u should stop thinking about it, chao .

I personally don't date younger boys. They are so much more imature, even if it's by a year. I would prefer to date someone 5 years older than me at the most. Yes, I do think it is strange for you to date him.

A one year difference is not 'younger'. Now when I was dating a girl 20 years younger than me that was younger.

its definitely not strange, as long as you like him. usually older women like younger guys because they keep life fun. but being that youre both quite young it doesnt make much of a difference. just as long as you like him and he likes you, its all good. :D
