I get hit on alot by guys but I refuse to have a boyfriend. The reason is because I don't want to have sex. I think that having a relationship in college always leads to sex eventually. I don't want to have sex because of my Catholic religious beliefs. Also, I fear that a guy will lose interest once he has sex with you. What do guys think of me???

It is hard to find ladies like you these days. You are one of a kind, and don't ever forget that. Stay true to yourself. You seem like an intelligent lady. I am a male, and I am waiting for the right one to come along.

Respect yourself. If a guy can't respect you for that...then you don't need him.

I dont agree about the Guy loosing interest part, but everything else i think is extremely AWSOME! and i tip my hat to you Ms.
Your not interested in the SEX aspect as much as you are MAKING LOVE to the person that you LOVE and thats great.
don't get me wrong sex is good lol. but if i could go back and change loosing my virginity i would. Most of the time it's a mistake. If you feel as if your not ready, don't worry about it, Take your time, there is absolutely no rush, as for the boyfriend thing. you can have realtionships with guys and have a boyfriend, just because your aren;t willing to loose your virginity to someone doesn't make them off limits. some guys might not understand (those are the automatic loosers) and they should be dumped if they cant handle a strong woman such as yourself and there might be (i dont want to say a few) so there might be one that is totally on your side, and will wait he's the winner, it might not be easy finding these guys bu they are out there somewhere. don't give into the pressure, because if your not truely into it then what's the point! Stay focused with your education there will always be plenty of time for men, your no missing out on much!
keep ypur standards waaaaay up high! not to many females out there that are virgins anymore!,,,,your not a looser, your not strange, your great!

hope everything works out

I think that is GREAT!! If you want a long term relationship, it is going to have to have something more than just sex. Besides, if you had sex with all these other guys who you broke up with, the next guy would feel jealous and intimidated. Especially if he is a virgin. Perhaps you will meet your soul mate with your similar religious beliefs...

;)

Good for you. I was a virgin in college too, but not by choice, hehe.

Its fine to have goals that go against the MTV promiscuous culture. Don't worry about it and focus on your education. If you really find the right guy at 19 you will know it.

As long as you're not leading men along, teasing them, and in effect using them, then it is your body to do with as you please, and to make whatever contractual relationship with whoever you want, for however much you think you're worth. The guy who finally wins your heart and your love will likely be a wonderful man.

On the other hand he might see your virginity as his goal, completely hiding his true feelings, or lack thereof, and once you're married a few years realize that's all he wanted from you, and dump you. (So don't tell anyone you're a virgin. Don't tell them anything!)

i think that its good that you're waiting, but you refuse to have a boyfriend? is there nobody you would like to go out with, or are you just afraid to have sex, if you like someone go for it, you dont have to have sex. and if they truly love you, they'll respect that and love you all the same.

I think you've made some big decisions in life and you should stick to what you think is right. You need to not worry about what all of us (guys) think. Be proud of YOU, because of you.
