OK, I just bought a Box of those Egg Rolls in the Frozen Section at Walmart. And I wanted to know what kinds of sauces to eat with them. I've never had Egg Rolls in my life before so I'm going to try them. I have the Vegetable Kind.

Plum sauce is the best. By the way, once you eat the ones you have - and let's say you don't like them, don't judge all egg rolls by them. Some frozen brands are actually quite decent - others are disgusting. Nothing beats a real handmade egg roll (even better if they make their own batter) from a restaurant. Try different kinds from different places.

YOu can purchase sweet and sour sauce on the Asian foods aisle in a bottle. Or, my personal favorte is a red chilli sauce that's also in the Asian foods aisle that looks like a ketchup bottle. It's sweet, but also has a little heat to it.

ooo how sad that your first egg roll is from the freezer section at wal mart! you NEED to go to a chinese food restaraunt! but in the meantime you can dip them in soy sauce, or you can mix some honey in some regular mustard. about 5tbl of each, mix and serve with your egg rolls. my kids and i eat home made pork egg rolls with this sauce. we just love it! have fun!and enjoy your egg rolls.

The Chinese Dim Sum Restaurants here in Hong Kong serve spring rolls with worcestershire sauce. At home when I prepare it, I serve mine with Lea & Perrins worcestershire sauce or balsamic vinegar.
