Honestly it could be a lot of things. You need to keep an eye on her. Give her Tylenol every 4 hours and Motrin every 6 hours if her fever isn't relieved by the Tylenol. Make sure she isn't allergic to either and follow the dosing instructions included for amount/weight (more appropriate than amt/age).
Watch for any signs of infection. Strong foul odor in the diaper would indicate urinary tract infection. Coughing and sniffles= respiratory infection, rash with fever is often a viral infection.
If you can't get her fever down, you can try a tepid bath. If all else fails or your motherly instincts tell you something is seriously wrong, get her to an emergency room.
Good luck, my thoughts are with you.

It's probably a cold, but a fever of 102.9 is pretty high. You should take her to a doctor immediately. Until you can get her there you need to give her something for the fever like Tylenol or Motrin. (Children's of course). A high fever in a child can cause seizures and even brain damage. I'm not trying to scare you but anything over 101 in a child needs to be addressed immediately
and Oh my God Please don't listen to that woman that said her daughter always ran a fever of 104-105 Im surprised that her baby lived if that is true. I do agree with the other woman that said don't waste time on here. This is important enough to take her to the ER.

Watch the temp any higher is scary. My son would do the same thing and it would scare me to deaf. I would take him to the doctor and he would give him something for the fever and then couple of days later it was back. We later found out that he was having an allergic reaction to orange juice. He still to this day will get bumps instead of a fever. Something that a doctor told me one time was to bath him in cool water to keep the temp down. Just be careful and watch it cause you just never know about a temp.

A child can have a UTI with no other symptoms. My 8 yo step daughter had one about a month ago, but her fever was 104, took her to the dr and she said we got it before any other symptoms showed up. But I agree with the above posts it could be a number of things, call the dr.

103 is dangerously high. That is a symptom in itself. You need to get her into your family doctor or urgent care ASAP. I always found children's Tylenol to be very good at bringing down fevers, so if you have that try it. Read the directions and apply a dosage based on her weight. I know they write it by age but medicine works by weight not age so if she is big she should have a older dose and if she is little you might want to look for Infant Tylenol.

asymptomatic is more dangerous, take her to the pediatrics. Having signs of throwing up with fever is urinary tract infection, usually with traces of infection in urinalysis. Let the doctor diagnose by seeing her face to face

At this time of year, it's probably the flu or an infection, like strep throat. You should take her to the doctor because fevers can be very serious in infants.

It could be anything, my daughter would always fever at 104-105 degrees. Usually colds, flu, food poisoning once. If she continues to fever, get her checked out, or if you can't get her fever down and she is uncomfortable.

Call her pediatrician and ask, mine says don't worry about it til it's 103, but I am a nurse so I do. If you can't call her pediatrician, try asking your local pharmacist, they might be willing to advise you.
My son was running 102/103F for about 8 hours even after Tylenol/Motrin and NO other symptoms, had real bad case of ROSEOLA (baby measles) three days later for his first birthday!
Call her pediatrician and ask what to do, and be sure you get plenty of fluids in her.
