Why can't I find any nice guys? Where have all the real men gone? Ive always been picky that's why I didn't have my first boyfriend until I was 20, & he was so smart, sweet and caring. But, it seems like the guys I'm meeting since him all are not worth my time. It seems like I always get approached by guys that I would never date. Guys always tell me that I'm pretty and I know I have good personality so why is it so hard to find a great guy? Someone that just wants to get to know me and not just try to get into my pants.
By the way, I am a shy girl but not overly shy. Also, I wanna save sex for marriage so I feel like most guys would probably not wait or just see me as a challenge so I'm very weary and suspicious of guys.
I'm a pretty, smart, and fun girl, so why can I find Mr.Right? Is there something wrong me me or is it just the selection?

Hey
Maybe your looking for "MR RIGHT" in all of the wrong places. I am not sure how old you are but I didnt have my first boyfriend until I was 17. I am twenty two and got married a month after my twenty first birthday. Your smart for wanting to save yourself for marriage that is exactly what my husband and i did. You want to find a guy that shares your same values. Church is where I found my Mr. Right. But I dated alot of Mr Wrongs before I found my husband. I have heard the statement you date who you marry. Have patience and the right guy will come along eventually. You can always ask a guy on a date if your interested in any that might met your beliefs. Good luck!

You say you're "picky" but quite frankly, you're missing out on a lot of great guys that could be your friends, if nothing else. They also have friends, and so you meet others through the circle. Plus, if you see a guy you like, you can approach him, you don't have to wait for him to make the first move.
Try just having fun with guys.. It's not life or death, it's a date.

You're looking in the wrong place. Now truth be told if you are as fine as you say you are .... Every man you meet is gonna want to get in your pants. Stop looking for a boyfriend and start looking for a friend (boyfriends have needs). Very few men are willing to wait until after marriage to have sex, especially if you consider them your boyfriend. So ask yourself what do you have to offer a man (besides sex or money) that will make him stick around. Once you figure that out work with it.

Hey.. I feel the same about women. I'm 23 and I haven't had a girlfriend yet.
And believe me.. I am EXTREMELY picky about women. Of course, I'm never approached by other women, but what you and I have in common is that I will not have sex until I am married and I feel most women are out for "the good time." That makes it even more difficult.

My best advice would be to know what you want in a man, and stick with it. I'm sure he will come along in its due time.

i am very happy to see that you wanna save sex for marriage. I am saving it for marriage too. My boyfriend and i are together for almost a year and we have not have sex. we both wanna save our first sex for wedding nite.

I don think there is anything wrong with you, just that you have not met the right guy. my first boyfriend was when i was about 17 years old, after that , i did not date till i was 24, and he is my current boyfriend.

it is important where you meet guys, if the guys that approach you are from clubs and pubs, their agenda is mainly to get laid, so avoid these guys. Be patient, you will definitely meet someone worth your time...

Good Day..

Perhaps you're not looking in the right places. Try your church. lol Just kidding.

It is refreshing to know that there are still girls like you in the world, when most girls these days would drop their pants off just to get a free lolly. So, be proud of yourself. I am.

The thing is, most young people like to 'experiment' first before they go steady. They want to 'try' as many different partners as they can before committing themselves to one person. It is a lot of pressure for you, I understand, but chin up. I am positive that the right guy will come along when you least expect it. I hope this helps.

There are great guys all around us. However, if you're putting out that "I'm Sherlock Holmes looking for your flaw" vibe, then men can sense it. They can tell if you're the kind that is expecting to be victimized or wants to be "saved" like a damsel in distress.

Quit worrying about finding Mr. Right and concentrate on being yourself. He's out there, give it time.

Do not complicate your life unnecessarily.I am sure the world is teeming with the Messers Right. They probably are looking for a Miss Right in their own way.Maybe one should look for a Mr and Ms Pair rather a Mr Right for a Miss Right or vice versa.

Look at the guys you are hanging out with. Go to church more or some social group where you can pursue your own interests—not guys. Cooking classes or University classes work. Also "Mr. right" doesn't exist—he's just a good idea that you can approximate.
