You can always your Sunsilk's anti-poof shampoo/conditioner, then use a curling/straightening balm, blow dry and straighten/curl it.

use a lot of conditioner and rinse it out in cool water. It will weigh the hair down.
or you could always flat-iron it ... but that takes forever.
